Rihanna has shocked her fans during an interview with Oprah Winfrey, during which she admitted that Chris Brown was the love of her life and following his well-known attack on the singer in 2009, that she felt sorry for him.
Last night (Sunday August 19th) on Oprah's latest to air episode of her Next Chapter series, the singer opened up about her patriotism for her home country of Barbados and life at home, but shocked most viewers when the topic of discussion turned to her former love. During the candid interview the 'Where Have You Been All My Life' sing admitted that she "still loves" Brown, and can hardly forget about him and all the good times they spent together, adding "I think he was the love of my life."
Trying to hold back the tears as best she could, the singer admitted that she and Brown are still "very, very close friends" and that they "love each other and [they] probably always will." Following Brown's attack on Rihanna three years ago, bridges between their relationship have begun to be built since the restraining order barring Brown from seeing her was eased in February this year. The two have been seen together in public, sometimes looking intimate with each other, for some while this year, sparking rumors of a potential reunion.
